Organizations:
There are organizations on Campus that exist from year to year based on an institutional commitment to their mission. All Marymount Student Organizations are listed below.

Associated Students of Marymount College (ASMC)
Marymount's student government exists to plan activities for students, to finance club activities, and to represent student interests to the College administration. Elections for officer positions are held each April and appointments for class representation occur in September.

Marymount Opportunities for Volunteer Experiences (MOVE)
MOVE is dedicated to doing community service work on campus and in the community. All students are welcome to attend weekly meetings and to participate in ongoing activities.

Residence Hall Association (RHA)
RHA is the residential students' governing body. The group represents student interests to the Office of Residential Life and the College administration. The group also plans activities for residential students such as an annual trip to Knott's Scary Farm, an Egg Hunt and exam packs during Finals each semester.

Phi Theta Kappa
This honorary academic society is open to students who have achieved a 3.5 GPA. Students who quality will receive formal invitations.

International Peers
This group is for Sophomore International students or domestic students who are interested in exploring other cultures. International Peers assist the Office of International Programs with new student orientation, activities throughout the year, and aiding international students adjust to the North American culture.

Peer Guidance Team
This group works with the staff of the Counseling Services Office to provide wellness programming on campus. Their goal is to increase community awareness of important personal and social issues

"How can I start a club at Marymount?"
All you need to start a club are four other interested students and a faculty or staff member to advise your group. Stop by the Office of Student Life in the Student Center. Staff there will give you the necessary paperwork.
