Residential Life

The Office of Residential Life coordinates all housing-related services, including the application process, housing assignments, in-hall judicial process and in-hall programming for Marymount's 420 residential students. The Office also oversees professional staff who live in and manage the two College residences in nearby San Pedro.

The goal of Residential Life is to provide a quality living environment in whichstudents will be successful academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Residents are assisted in their development by the Residential Life staff, who include the Operations Coordinator, Judicial Tracking Coordinator, Resident Directors, Community Safety Officers and Community Assistants.

Our Residential Sites

Our fully furnished and secure apartment and townhouse style residences are located a short drive from campus. Residences, which are co-educational, are fully professionally staffed. Students are offered a multitude of activities at the residences, and a College-operated shuttle takes them to and from campus. A full meal plan, included in the room and board charge, is served in the Café on the main campus.

The Two Residential Options:

Palos Verdes North
This 80-unit complex houses up to 320 students in townhouses with two bedrooms, 1 ½ bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and garage. Laundry facilities, computer facilities, quiet study and vending machines are available on site. A campus-like setting on a 13-acre gated property, the Palos Verdes North site provides plenty of open space. It also includes an outdoor basketball and volleyball court. The Palos Verdes North site is located off Palos Verdes Drive North between Western Avenue and Gaffey Street in San Pedro.

Pacific View
This 30-unit complex houses up to 100 students in apartments with two bedrooms, one to two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and limited garage spaces. Laundry facilities, computer facilities, quiet study and vending machines are available on site. Several apartments feature stunning views of San Pedro, Los Angeles Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. Pacific View is located at 740 West 24th Street in San Pedro.

Off Campus Housing
The Office of Residential Life operates a self-help resource center, which is most active during the summer months. This resource is for students who desire housing in the area but do not wish to live in the residence halls.
