1. When is tuition due?
Payment for Fall tuition is due by July 15th, and Spring tuition is due by December 1st. Summer term tuition is due May 1st.
2. What are my tuition payment options?
Payment for tuition can be either paid in full (check, wire, cash, and/or credit card) or paid by enrolling in our payment plan (payment plans available to domestic students only).
3. What types of credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards. Credit card payments can be accepted over the phone or online (click on the 'Make a Payment' link on right side of this page).
4. Who is TMS?
Tuition Management Systems (TMS) is the company Marymount has partnered with to offer our online payment plan options (Payment plans are for domestic students only). Contact the College for information on our payment options and how to enroll online.
5. What happens if I am late in paying my tuition?
Failure to pay the student account balance will result in one or more of the following:
- Pre-registered classes will be subject to cancellation
- A tuition hold will be placed on the account, preventing transcripts from being issued
- Grade information will be restricted
- Late fees will be assessed (TMS charges late fees as well for late payments)
- Meal plans and computer use will be restricted
- Future class registration will be restricted
- Housing privileges could be withheld
7. What is the Student Association fee, Technical fee, Sustainability fee, Health Services fee, and the Orientation fee for?
The Student Association fee helps with the costs of the student activities.The Technical fee allows for the College's continual maintenance and advancement in technology to meet students' needs.The Sustainability fee supports student-led sustainability projects. The Orientation fee is a one-time fee for all new incoming students. These fees are mandatory charges for all students.
8. The financial aid itemized on my statement is not what I thought it would be. Whom do I contact?

9. There are holds listed on my statement. What are those and how can they be removed?
Holds are placed on a student’s account when information or payment is needed. Each department assigns and removes the holds. Please contact the department directly, depending on the hold.

- Parking Tickets – Student Development Services, ext. 7254
- Judicial – Residential Life/Judicial Affairs, ext. 7343
10. There is a credit balance on my account, what are my options?
The credit balance can be used to purchase books or meal cards or it can remain on your account to be used for a future term. Additionally, the balance can be refunded by contacting our office to request a refund form and submitting your request in writing.
11. Can I add extra money to my student’s account to purchase books at the Campus bookstore or toward meal cards for the cafe?
Yes. Just call our office and provide us with your credit card information and we can add money to the account. Additionally, if there is already a credit balance on the account, that can be used toward books or meal cards.
