Computer Labs

Institutional Technology operates a number of computer labs for students. All students enrolled at Marymount College may use the computers in the Oceanside building's computer lab. Other labs are available only to students enrolled in specific Marymount classes. However, during certain, variable non-reserved hours, some of these labs will be opened to the general student population. Some labs that follow this practice are the computer teaching lab (AD-110 in the Administration Building) and the digital arts lab (AD-110 in the Administration Building). There are also 14 workstations in the Library where you can conduct online research.

Media Carts

Institutional Technology supports 3 media carts that can be reserved for use by students, faculty and staff. If you would like to reserve one of the media carts for a presentation, please call the help desk at extension 7768 or send an email to support@marymountpv.edu.

Each media cart is equipped with a Dell laptop with DVD player, LCD projector, and speakers.

Library Resources

The library provides online resources for students, staff and faculty on their web site. Some of these resources are subscription-based and require authentication. If you are here on campus using a computer connected to the Marymount network the authentication happens automatically. If you want to access the library's online resources from home or somewhere off-campus, you can do this by connecting to Marymount's network with a VPN connection.
