Foundation partnerships are essential to Marymount College
Foundation partnerships are essential to the operations and function of Marymount College. We may be the premier, private, liberal arts college in California, but we are also a non-profit charity with 501 (c) 3 status under the auspices of the Catholic Archdiocese of America. Family and corporate Foundations have provided grants and other contributions to Marymount through generous gifts in support of scholarships, endowments, technology enhancement, classroom renovation, artist residencies, public education, cultural arts, capital improvements, and much more.
Over the years, Foundations have made a difference to the lives of many Marymount students by providing endowment funds and annual grants for merit- and financial need-based scholarships. This form of financial aid helps the College to recruit and retain students, ensuring access for students from underserved communities, and recognizing exceptional service to the College and the community.
Foundations that have provided essential support for campus facilities and technology improvements have helped the College keep up to date with the latest -- and constantly changing -- requirements of modern campus technology, from SMART classroom and science laboratory upgrades, to installation of industry-standard multimedia hardware and software for a professional-quality media lab.
Marymount College's Campus Improvement Project has been a wonderful opportunity for the College to forge new, as well as re-engage former partnerships with our community of funders.
We would like to thank the following Foundations for their wonderful current and past support (in alphabetical order):
E. Wiegand Foundation
