To our esteemed alumni:

This has been an exciting year at Marymount, and we have been fortunate to share our good news with you and other alumni.  We have welcomed our new president, Dr. Michael S. Brophy, at the recent inauguration celebration on campus, and recognized 75 years of outstanding education in the Marymount tradition.  We have enjoyed media coverage of our talented faculty members in regional newspapers and publications, and welcomed new faculty to the Marymount community.  We are continuing to offer cultural and educational enrichment to the Marymount community through events on campus. 

As we look to the future, we are excited by the possibility of continued successes.  This year, we are offering our first summer study abroad opportunity at Regent’s College in London.  We are also working to enhance our service learning program for students with trips to Tijuana, Mexico, and other regions that encourage and embody the spirit of volunteering as part of the Marymount student experience. You can expect to see a vibrant and active arts culture here on campus as well as an enhanced appreciation for our role in protecting the environment – these are key components of Dr. Brophy’s vision for the future of Marymount.

The summer is brimming with activities at Marymount, and we invite you to share in the excitement.  You will find more information about upcoming events in the body of this newsletter.   There is something for everyone, including special discounts to a day of the arts for children of Marymount alumni.
