Newsletter: Marymount College Embarks on New Evening Program
in San Pedro for Working Adults

Please let your friends, neighbors and relatives know that Marymount college is starting up a new degree program for working adults at the new Port of Los Angeles High School (POLAHS) in San Pedro. Beginning Mon., Aug. 13, students will be able to work toward one of four degrees: associate’s, bachelor’s, MBA and a master of Arts in international business (M.A.I.B.). The program, run in coordination with Webster University, will offer classes from 6 to 10 p.m. at POLAHS, which is in downtown San Pedro at 250 West 5th St.

“We are delighted to have this opportunity to partner with the San Pedro community on an initiative that has the potential to benefit a great many community members in the South Bay/Harbor region,” said Marymount College President Dr. Michael S. Brophy.

Students in the Marymount/Webster program at POLAHS can avail themselves of small and affordable classes, exceptionally knowledgeable and supportive faculty members, and a wide range of academic subjects. Secure parking will be available.
