Learn About Merit Scholarship Opportunities
About 50 percent of our students receive financial aid. The average financial aid package awarded in 2006-2007 was $17,500. Total awards ranged from $1,000 to $33,392 and included federal, state, private and Marymount College funds. Award packages were comprised of grants, scholarships, work study, student loans and parent loans.
To apply for financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This one form determines your eligibility for federal, state and Marymount College funds, including grants, scholarships, loans and work study.
Some students may be asked for additional information once we have received their processed FAFSA form. The Financial Aid Office will notify students of any documents needed in addition to the FAFSA.March 1 is the priority deadline for financial aid consideration. All application materials should be received in the Financial Aid Office by March 1, to receive the best possible funding consideration. In addition, students must have completed their application for admission by this date. The Financial Aid Office will continue to award students after the priority on a funds-available basis.
