Health 100 – First Aid and CPR (1) *** A study of Community CPR and Basic
First Aid techniques and procedures. Emphasis on practical skills, and assessing
emergencies in the home, school, and community. Course is graded on a

Health 130 – Human Sexuality (2-3) **** An analysis
of human sexual
behavior from the physiological, sociological, and psychological points of
view.

Health 150 – Concepts in Health Education (1-2) *** Contemporary
health
knowledge intended to develop proper attitudes and behavior. Topics selected
from: nutrition, fitness, drug and alcohol use and abuse, stress, chronic diseases,
date and acquaintance rape, death and dying, self esteem and lifestyle diseases.

Health 160 – Contemporary Health Issues (1) *** Action
oriented course with
up-to-date presentations of current health issues/problems and methods of
dealing with them. (Please note that no credit will be given for HED 150 if
HED

Health 170 – Fitness for Life (2) *** A combination
of physical assessments,
classroom lectures, daily walking, and physical activities to promote optimal
mental wellness. (Same as PED 170) CSU area E
