In line with the College’s focus on the development of the whole person, all Marymount BAs require completion of a minimum of 120 units of academic work and 120 hours of co-curricular activity**. The coherent curriculum emphasizes a progression of learning, supported by experiential learning in the form of service learning connected to specific courses, and supplemented by a broad choice of leadership, wellness, service, intercultural, and spiritual opportunities.
Marymount College Associate degree and Bachelor's degree graduates complete the College’s core liberal education distribution requirements (see AA/AS degree requirements tab). BA graduates go on to complete the requirements specific to their BA. In each BA, academic work culminates in an individual senior capstone project, and each BA graduate is able to present a co-curricular transcript and an electronic portfolio.
(**) the co-curricular requirement is pro-rated for incoming transfer students, to the equivalent of 30 hours per academic year or 15 hours per semester.
