Advisement + Transfer : Independent Colleges and Universities
There are many fine independent colleges and universities, each of which has its own admission, general education and pre-major requirements. However, many of those institutions will accept the California State University and/or University of California (I.G.E.T.C.) certification in lieu of their own lower division general education requirements (in part or in full).
